FEATHER: Mixed Media Collage with Re-purposed Materials

Feather is my new series of mixed media collage using re-purposed materials. The triangular papers with curly tips are made of old Benjamin Moore house paint color samples I got years ago from a bankrupted and shutdown paint shop. I do have a habit of keeping free stuff, thinking that I would use them some day.  To tell you the truth, I am doing more hoarding than utilizing the collected art supplies. Hopefully this is a baby step toward actually using some supplies. I plan to use up all feather I have, then I will move onto something else entirely different.

When the light is hit from an angle, the feathers make shadows, making it more interesting.
